Realizing a need a need to diversify the family farm and venture into the hospitality industry - that is exactly what Lane and Margie Moore did in 1991. The Lazy M Guest Ranch was built to give guests an exposure to ranch life in west central Alberta.
As the market changed so did the need to look at new options. After almost 20 years the Moore's handed over the "riens" - but not the horses, to a couple of men with a new focus. Thus the Lazy M Lodge was "reborn"
